Category: Food anthropology

Food anthropology is a very wide interdisciplinary field, that here, as a category, will include issues ranging from dietary adaptation to subsistence patterns (hunter-gatherers, pastoralists, agriculturalists, food industry) to radical diet changes because of ecological and environmental patterns (climate, altitude, stress, hunger and malnutrition, climate change) or as a result of diminished food rights. Other subjects under this category are recovered ancient foods or food history.
